Product Description
The Trojan UV Max Model D4 is a complete ultraviolet light water system that is used to purify the water for homes and cottages. It is manufactured by Trojan Technologies and is their newest and highest performing residential model to date. It will protect the water supply from contaminants such as e. coli, coliform, cryptosporidium and giardia.
The Trojan UV Max D4 includes many innovative and useful product improvements. Trojan has increased the diameter on the steel chamber effectively slowing the water flow which gives the UV lamp more time to perform disinfection. A new lamp connector cable makes it impossible to power the lamp without it being inserted properly into the steel chamber. The new power supply used with the Trojan UV Max D4 offers some of the most useful product improvements. LED's on the power supply show that all system components are functioning properly. In the event of a system failure an audible alarm sounds and the power supply indicates the failed component with a red LED. The Trojan UV Max D4 differs from C4 in that it includes a handy lamp replacment reminder. When the system is first started the display reads 365. When the counter reaches zero after one full year of system use, an audible alarm sounds reminding you to replace your lamp. The D4 also includes a counter reset button and a mute button. This makes troubleshooting and repair of the Trojan UV Max D4 a breeze. The new D4 system also includes a very handy quick reference card that fits into a slot in the back of the power supply. This card explains all of the important aspects of installing and maintaining the UV system.
The Trojan UV Max Model D4 system includes the steel UV chamber, the lamp, and a power supply. All Trojan residential UV systems feature a one piece lamp/sleeve assembly that makes maintenance on the system very easy - the lamp and sleeve can be removed from the UV chamber without any tools for easy visual inspection and cleaning. A high output UV lamp means that the Trojan UV Max D4 system is much more compact than many others on the market making installation easier.
Trojan UV is the world leader in ultraviolet systems. Trojan UV systems are used by some of the world's largest cities to protect their drinking water supplies. Now you can enjoy this same level of protection for your home or cottage.
