The workhorse of the Matrikx filter line is the exceptionally popular Matrkx + CTO/2. The Matrikx CTO/2 filter is designed to operate as both a sediment filter and an activated carbon filter. The Matrikx + CTO/2 can be used in well water applications, reverse osmosis systems, and in many other water purification applications. The Matrikx CTO/2 offers 5-micron sediment filtration and extruded activated carbon.

The Matrikx filter line also offers some very useful specialized filters. The Matrikx + Pb1 offers the same chlorine and chemical reduction as the CTO/2 plus it offers the added bonus of lead removal. Lead is a dangerous drinking water contaminant and the Matrikx + Pb1 water filter has proven very effective in trapping and adsorbing this dangerous pollutant.

The Matrikx filter line also includes a full range of filters designed for the removal of chlorine and all of its disinfection byproducts. These filters include the Matrikx + 1, the Matrikx + 5, and the Matrikx + 10/2.
