The Pentek NCP-10 is a non-cellulose sediment filter that is impregnated with powdered activated carbon. It is rated at 10-microns. This Pentek NCP-10 is an ideal cartridge for non-chlorinated water supplies where sediment reduction is the primary purpose of the filter and where taste/odor/chlorine reduction is also desired.
The pleated design of the Pentek NCP-10 gives it a very high surface area which gives this cartridge excellent flow capacity with minimal pressure loss. This filter is most commonly used as a polishing filter for post reverse osmosis applications and for well water purification.
