Product Description
Using a water filter housing with a water filter cartridge is the most common way to purify the water for a whole home or building. This product ships complete with a blue-colored water filter housing, filter wrench, and all the mounting hardware required for an easy and straightforward installation. A "Big Blue" housing will accomodate larger diameter filter cartridges than a standard housing. For this reason they are often chosen for medium to large sized homes and for many industrial & commercial water filter applications.
This product features standard 1" female threaded inlet and outlet plumbing connections. Many larger homes are now plumbed with 1" water mains making this filter an ideal choice for ease of installation. Flow rate through this housing is dictated by the filter cartridge that is selected with a maximum flow rate of about 10 gallons per minute.
