Matrikx 1 Chlorine Guzzler Filter
The Matrikx 1 Chlorine Guzzler provides outstanding chlorine taste and odor reduction. The Matrikx 1 is also very effective at removing volatile organics (VOC) and total organics (TOC). The Matrikx 1 is ideal for use in residential and commercial water purification systems, industrial effluent water treatment, food service, industrial makeup, product rinse, process water, and pre - and post-RO systems which require nearly absolute chlorine taste and odor reduction.
Product Description
Matrikx 1 provides highly effective control of chlorine taste and odor. Matrikx 1 also provides 0.6 µm nominal filtration with extended life as a fine sediment and silt control filter. The service life of Matrikx 1 filters is greatly extended by upstream prefiltration.Matrikx 1 Extruded Carbon Details
Matrikx CR1 filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Matrikx CR1 filters flow in a radial (outside-to-inside) direction, providing increased dirt-holding capacity and low pressure drop. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, Matrikx CR1 cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core. Service life of the Matrikx CR1 filter is greatly extended by upstream pre-filtration.
