Trojan UV Max PRO 10 is an NSF Certified UV system that will provide safe water at a rate of up to 10 gallons per minute. It is ideally suited for public water systems such as schools, campgrounds, small municipal installations, and homes or cottages. It is manufactured by the world leader in ultraviolet disinfection for water, Trojan UV.
Product Description
The Trojan UV Max PRO 10 is the newest and most advanced ultraviolet water filter system. A new lamp technology delivers outstanding performance - twice the power of its predecessors and competitors. Integrated system cooling keeps the ultraviolet (UV) lamp at peak operating temperature in all water conditions. More impressive, is that this ultraviolet (UV) lamp lasts twice as long (2 years) as competitive systems, reducing the maintenance schedule and saving you money for lamp replacements.
Several new advances makes the Trojan UV Max PRO 10 easier to install and maintain. These include an optional solenoid valve with manual override, an integrated ground on the lamp connector, and a new uv lamp assembly that allows the user to install the lamp with no tools, and without the risk of over tightening.
A newly designed ultraviolet (UV) sensor on the Trojan UV Max PRO 10 ensures that a high UV dose is always being applied to the water. In the event that water quality changes and not enough UV is being delivered, the system will go into alarm. LED indicators on the PRO 10 controller show the user the source of the alarm. With past systems, it was sometimes difficult to determine if an alarm was from low quality water, or a faulty UV sensor. The new PRO Series sensor is user-testable. With the push of a button you can confirm that the sensor is working properly and that the alarm is legitimate.
Perhaps the biggest leap forward for the Trojan UV Max PRO 10 is its ability to display and store UV system performance information. When used with the Trojan COMMcenter, the PRO 10 is able to show real time UV dose - the only true measure of disinfection performance. The COMMcenter also displays alarm history, lamp hours, and other performance parameters - for up to nine systems. The COMMcenter can be wired using standard computer network cable, or can be used wirelessly using an optional adapter. The COMMcenter can also be interfaced directly with a PC and using free software provided by Trojan, UV system data can be viewed and recorded in real time. Alternatively, data can be transferred from the COMMcenter to a PC using a mini-SD memory card.
