Coconut carbon is widely regarded as the premium carbon product for purifying drinking water. The Pentek CC-10 utilizes the granular form (GAC) coconut carbon to effectively remove bad taste and bad odor from your water. The CC-10 is equally effective at removing chlorine taste and odor. All coconut carbon products will remove more volatile organic compounds (VOC's) from your water than regular GAC products.
