Product Description

The Pentek DGD-2501 Dual Gradient sediment water filter cartridge is used for removing particulate matter from water. The Pentek DGD-2501 Dual Gradient is constructed of spun polypropylene fibers which offer high dirt holding capacity, high stability in a range of temperatures, and chemical resistivity. The DGD-2501 Dual Gradient combines two filters in one. The first layer is a 25 micron pre-filtration step that filters out larger particles. The second layer is a 1 micron step that removes much smaller particles. By combining the two filter stages in one sediment filter, the DGD-2501 Dual Gradient series offers much higher dirt holding capacity, and much higher flow rates than similar, single-layer filters. The DGD-2501 Dual Gradient series of filters has been shown to hold 233% more sediment than similar sized single layer filters.

Pentek DGD--2501 Dual Gradient Sediment Filter Details:

Pentek DGD Dual Gradient sediment filters are designed for purity and will not impart odor, taste, or color to the liquid being filtered. All Pentek DGD Dual Gradient sediment filters are made of 100% pure polypropylene which provides outstanding chemical resistance and most importantly, is not prone to bacterial attack. This is especially important when filtering non-chlorinated rural water supplies such as lake or well water.
