Due to it's polyester construction the Pentek R30-BB can be used in non-chlorinated water supplies such as lake or well water. The Pentek R30-BB can be cleaned and re-used. It is rated at 30 microns.
Product Description
The Pentek R30-BB sediment water filter cartridge is used for removing suspended solids from water. The Pentek R30-BB is constructed of pleated non-woven polyester fabric that is bonded on the ends to thermoset plastisol. Polyester is resistant to many chemicals and to bacterial damage, making the Pentek R30-BB an excellent choice for removing suspsended solids from non-chlorinated water supplies such as lake and well water. A distinct advantage of the Pentek R30-BB sediment filter is that it can be removed, cleaned, and re-used many times over. It's durable polyester construction will withstand many cleanings before requiring replacement. This filter cartridge is rated for the removal of 30 micron particles.
