More About the Sterilight SPV-950 NSF Ultraviolet (UV) Water System

The Sterilight SPV-950 ultraviolet light water system is ideal for mid flow applications requiring water disinfection. It is an ideal system for supplying water to a large home or cottage. The SPV-950 system will provide protection from bacteria and other organisms that might be present in drinking water.

The Sterilight SPV-950 is NSF certified to deliver a 40mJ ultraviolet (uv) dose. This ensures that 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and cysts such as cryptosporidium and giardia are destroyed. If for any reason the system is not able to deliver a 40mJ ultraviolet dose, an alarm sounds alerting the user.

With its NSF certification, the Sterilight SPV-950 is an ideal choice for public water applications such as schools, government buildings, community centers, places of worship, and campgrounds.

Ultraviolet water systems are passive devices that clean the water as it passes through. Bacteria and other organisms that pass through the chamber are blasted with high-energy ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Ultraviolet (UV) water purification is superior to chemical water filtration because it does not add any harmful chemicals to your drinking water.

R-Can Environmental is located in Guelph, Canada and is one of the world's largest producers of ultraviolet light water filters for consumers. R-Can has been manufacturing the Sterilight brand of ultraviolet (UV) sterilizers since 1989.

Sterilight SPV-950 Facts:
