The ProSoftᵀᴹ 2 is Aquatell's answer to challenging conditions that demand a heavy-duty response. This softener will perform in extreme hardness conditions and where high iron and manganese concentrations pose an issue. High-Velocity (HV) softening resin is at the heart of this over-achiever. This system will handle water with hardness values up to 65 grains per gallon and 20mg/L of combined iron + manganese* and unlike conventional systems, the resin will not become fouled in the process. This softener can also be used in less challenging water conditions where high flow rates exist and high softening performance is still the expectation.
The combination of Upflow Regeneration and HV resin also means that incredible efficiencies can be obtained. The ProSoftᵀᴹ 2 can regenerate using as little as 21 gallons of water and 3 pounds of salt achieving a Softener Efficiency Rating (SER) of 5,000 grains per pound of salt used.
The ProSoftᵀᴹ 2 ships in two boxes. Box 1 is comprised of the filled, capped media tank. Box 2 contains the brine tank, control valve, bypass valve, and other installation hardware.

ProSoftᵀᴹ 2 base model is ideal for municipal (city) water sources with very high hardness or where high flow rates are required. The
ProSoftᵀᴹ 2AQX adds 0.5 cubic feet of Aquatell's proprietary media mix reducing the chlorine, chloramine, and many other noxious compounds in your city water, and dramatically increasing the softener resin lifespan. The
ProSoftᵀᴹ 2GW is the ideal model for very challenging rural water applications where iron + manganese levels sit between 3.0 and 20mg/L or where water hardness exceeds 65 grains per gallon. All three systems ship with a heavy-duty sediment filter system to ensure your softener is protected and the water in your home is sediment-free.
