The Pentek R30 sediment water filter cartridge is used for removing suspended solids from water. The Pentek R30 is constructed of pleated non-woven polyester fabric that is bonded on the ends to thermoset plastisol. Polyester is resistant to many chemicals and to bacterial damage, making the Pentek R30 an excellent choice for removing suspsended solids from non-chlorinated water supplies such as lake and well water. A distinct advantage of the Pentek R30 sediment filter is that it can be removed, cleaned, and re-used many times over. It's durable polyester construction will withstand many cleanings before requiring replacement. This filter cartridge is rated for the removal of 30 micron particles.
