Doulton Filters

Doulton filters are used to remove many pollutants from drinking water including bacteria, viruses, cysts and chemicals. Doulton ceramic water filter candles,cartridges, and filtration systems have been manufactured since 1827 and continue to be manufactured today utilizing the latest ceramic techniques. Doulton filters come in two basic formats - the Candle and Cartridge. Candles are closed on one end and are used in gravity fed or pressurized systems. Cartridges are open on both ends and are compatible with most standard 10" water filter housings. Cartridges are only used under pressure. aQuatell carries a full line of Doulton ceramic water filters including the popular Sterasyl, SuperSterasyl, UltraCarb, and SuperCarb cartridges and candles.

Doulton SuperCarb uses the same ceramic shell as the Sterasyl and adds a 1-mircon carbon block core that gives greater chlorine and chemical reduction than the SuperSterasyl.
