It is very important to replace the lamp in your Trojan UV Max PRO 10 ultraviolet system every two years as suggested by the manufacturer.  As UV lamps age they lose intensity. Beyond 2 years of use the Trojan UV Max PRO 10 lamp may not have enough intensity to properly disinfect the water being purified.  If you use your ultraviolet (UV) system seasonally, such as in a cottage, you will need to replace the lamp after 2 years of total running time.
