The Citymaster PRO+ is built with 0.5 cubic feet of AQX media, significantly improving the taste, odour, and overall healthiness of the water for your entire home. AQX dramatically reduces chlorine, chloramine, and thousands of other contaminants for over 400,000 gallons (about 1.5 million Litres) of throughput. This media can be replaced in the future without the need to replace the softening resin. The chlorine/chloramine reduction capability of this media significantly increases resin lifespan and this is reflected in the 2 extra years of resin warranty for this model.
The combination of the Clack™ upflow-regeneration control valve and HV resin also means that incredible efficiencies can be obtained. The Citymaster PRO+ can regenerate using as little as 21 gallons of water and 3 pounds of salt achieving a Softener Efficiency Rating (SER) of 5,000 grains per pound of salt used.

The best connector is the one that matches your home’s existing plumbing size. This minimizes the number of extra plumbing connectors you’ll need to purchase. For DIY installations, “flex” connectors and connectors with push-to-connect (PTC) fittings can save tons of time and effort. Make sure you fully understand how to measure your existing pipes to ensure you match the sizing correctly.
