    More Details

High-Velocity (HV) resin and custom programming allow this system to tackle the most difficult rural water applications while maintaining resin performance and longevity. The USA-made Clack™ downflow-regenerating control valve excels in challenging environments and will perform trouble-free for many years.

The Wellmaster is built with a Vortech bottom plate tank. This tank creates agitation of the softening bed during backwash to ensure that accumulated hardness, iron, and manganese are thoroughly scrubbed from the resin and significantly enhances the effectiveness and longevity of the system in challenging conditions.

    DIY Installation - FAQS

Yes, many homeowners and Aquatell customers successfully install their own water softeners, especially if they’re comfortable cutting into a water line and making secure, leak-free connections.

The best connector is the one that matches your home’s existing plumbing size. This minimizes the number of extra plumbing connectors you’ll need to purchase. For DIY installations, “flex” connectors and connectors with push-to-connect (PTC) fittings can save tons of time and effort. Make sure you fully understand how to measure your existing pipes to ensure you match the sizing correctly.

No, it doesn't, however, all manufacturer documentation, including the manual, should be reviewed prior to installation, which typically includes the manufacturer’s warranty details. If anything remains unclear after reviewing manufacturer documentation, don’t hesitate to reach out to us for assistance. Also, ensure local plumbing codes are followed.

Most first-time DIY installers should plan for roughly 2–4 hours from start to finish, including shutting the water down, making the connections, and walking through a first regeneration/backwash. If you’re replacing an existing system and are already comfortable doing basic plumbing work, it will often be a shorter job since all necessary plumbing connections are already present and accessible.
